What's The DIN13164
DIN 13164 describes the "first aid kit B" that is used in motor vehicles. According to §35h of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO), such a first aid kit is mandatory for cars in Germany. An exception are motorcycles, which are not required to be carried. The first aid kit C according to DIN 13157 used in companies contains everything that is also prescribed by DIN 13164. In addition, however, additional bandages. DIN 13164 describes the content and appearance of the first-aid kit. For cars, however, only the content is prescribed, so that there are adapted boxes, e.g. in the form of pillows, there. There is also a combination bag with a warning triangle. However, the box itself is also required for buses.
